That means to aid the great crusade of destitute mankind

Without the single flaw
(prepared to face the simple truth of nature’s tooth and claw?)
The structure of our being is laid open to the bone
to prove that we are ultimately hopelessly alone

Pathetic
Clown between two sticks
(nothing more than vanity and petty party tricks?)
My only strength the tendency to fight those who deny me
and must I now bow down before the Spirit of Scientific Enquiry?​
